We've held our 100% Opportunity Outfitter standard on rifle and archery hunts for over 12 years — meaning every hunter gets legal, mature animals in shooting range. That's a product of our guides' expertise and intimate knowledge of Arizona's hunting grounds. For archery hunts, the same standard holds: every archer gets quality shot opportunities at game animals.
Yes, we assist all our clients with the hunting license application process to ensure you have the proper permits for your hunt. You'll need to bring your own weapon and valid hunting license. Please note that we do not provide alcoholic beverages, so you're welcome to bring your own if desired.
We offer two types of hunting experiences: Sandhill Crane, Javelina, and Turkey hunts are three-day guided hunts only. Our Coues Deer, Mule Deer, and Elk hunts are comprehensive 5-day fully outfitted experiences that include a full-time cook, all meals and drinks, and comfortable lodging in canvas tents with fireplaces or cabins. We offer both 1x1 (one guide per hunter) and 2x1 (one guide per two hunters) guide services to accommodate your preferences.
Arizona desert hunting can be physically demanding, involving hiking over varied terrain and glassing from elevated positions. While we accommodate hunters of various fitness levels, a reasonable level of physical conditioning will enhance your hunting experience and success opportunities.
Essential items include appropriate hunting clothing for desert conditions, quality boots, binoculars, and your weapon of choice. We'll provide a detailed gear list upon booking that's specific to your hunt type and season. Our guides will ensure you're properly equipped for Arizona's unique hunting environment.
Arizona offers year-round hunting opportunities with optimal seasons varying by species. Coues deer hunts are excellent in winter months, while archery seasons provide great opportunities in warmer months. Our experienced guides will recommend the best timing based on your target species and hunting preferences.
Our fully guided Arizona Coues deer hunts are $4,850 for a 4-day hunt and $5,650 for a 5-day hunt. That includes professional guide services, transportation during the hunt, lodging and meals, field care and processing assistance, and help with your license and tag application.

Yes — Coues deer archery tags are often available over the counter (OTC). The best rifle hunts are drawn through Arizona's bonus point system. We help every hunter we book understand the draw, apply correctly, and pick the right tag for their goals.
Coues hunting is spot-and-stalk. On rifle hunts, expect shots anywhere from 200 to 500 yards depending on the terrain and the buck. On archery hunts, most shots happen inside 50 yards after a careful, slow stalk.
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for popular seasons and species. Arizona's draw system for certain hunts requires advance planning, and our calendar fills up quickly during peak seasons. Contact us to discuss availability and help plan your hunting adventure.
Arizona's diverse elevations create varied weather conditions perfect for year-round hunting. Desert elevations (1,000-3,000 ft) are mild in winter with highs in the 60s-70s°F and lows in the 30s-40s°F. Mountain elevations (4,000-8,000+ ft) can be significantly cooler, especially during early morning and evening hunts. Winter months (December-February) are ideal for Coues deer with comfortable daytime temperatures and cool mornings. Fall hunts (September-November) can range from warm days to cool evenings depending on elevation. Always bring layers as temperatures can fluctuate 30-40 degrees between morning and afternoon. Our guides will provide specific weather forecasts and gear recommendations for your hunt dates and locations.
Our guides average 35 years of hunting experience each, and Arizona's only 100% Opportunity Outfitter standard sets our team apart. That intimate knowledge of Arizona's desert landscape, combined with the standard we hold every hunt to, ensures exceptional results. Our guides' dedication to ethical hunting practices and client opportunities guarantees an unparalleled hunting experience every time.
